About You

As a Diverse Learning Teacher, you will inspire students through engaging, student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning environment. You'll bring:

• an understanding and working knowledge of the Disability Discrimination Act (1992) and Disability Standards for Education (2005)
• an understanding of the NCCD and ability to engage with Catholic Schools NSW ‘Personalised Planning for Students With Disability’ (PPSD) online tool (essential)
• expertise to teach Stage 4 and Stage 5 in any subject
• ability to create inclusive, rigorous learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of students
• strong classroom management & student well-being focus
• strong educational philosophy that is centred on equity and inclusion
• ability to effectively communicate with parents, students and staff with highly developed interpersonal skills
• exemplary classroom practice, utilising a range of effective contemporary pedagogies
• skills in conflict management with staff, students, and families
• an understanding of differentiation
• strong classroom management and student well-being focus
• ability to create inclusive, rigorous learning experiences
• a tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation.
