About You
As an experienced Diverse Learning Teacher, you work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high-quality, collaborative and engaging pedagogy.
Success in this position will be supported by the following skills, qualities, and abilities:
- knowledge of the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD) cyclic processes, including planning, implementation, validation and review of student’s Personalised Plans
- communicate and collaborate with parents, students and class teachers for effective differentiation in the classroom for students with additional needs
- support class teachers in the implementation of personalised adjustments which target individual student needs
- utilise formative and summative assessments to drive student progress
- facilitate /provide curriculum resource support materials and information
- employ a data-informed approach to setting challenging learning objectives and providing constructive feedback
- demonstrate excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being
- integrate technology to enhance contemporary learning experiences
- disseminate information about students' abilities, learning needs on a regular and ongoing basis to subject teachers
- support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students
- a tertiary qualification in Education & NESA accreditation
- Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.
