About the Role

St Agatha's Primary School has a friendly, professional team of staff who provide a supportive work culture. We are currently seeking a temporary Canteen Manager to join our supportive compassionate team on Wednesdays and Fridays (9:30am - 2:30pm) during Terms 2 & 3.

The duties and the responsibilities include:

  • Operations & Food Service - plan, prepare and oversee lunch orders
  • Food Safety & Compliance - ensure compliance with food safety legislation and local council regulations, maintain high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness and manage allergen controls
  • Finanical Management - manage lunch orders through CDFpay and liaise with the School's business manager to manage the canteen budget
  • Stock & Supplier management - order food and supplies and storage of stock

REQUIREMENTS

  • A valid Employee Working With Children Check
  • A valid Food Handlers certificate
  • First Aid certificates are an advantage.
