Teachers - with Administrative Role

Job Description

Working in with key members of the College Operations team the Campus Timetabler provides oversight to ensure the smooth running of our timetable

This role provides timetabling services to the College ensuring that Beaconhills develops and implements contemporary timetable structures that will enable the College Innovation goal around personalising learning. Working in with key members of the College Operations team the Campus Timetabler provides oversight to ensure the smooth running of our timetabling systems that are best placed to be utilised by our learning community to support students and staff.

The successful applicant must thrive on working as part of a dynamic team of dedicated professionals who are committed to fostering excellence in their students.

  • This position is open to be a part-time 0.6 FTE or a full time 1.0 FTE, ongoing position for a Teacher
  • Commencing 22 January 2026 (or by negotiation) for a dedicated two day staff induction
  • The Semester 1 teaching load will be approximately 0.583 FTE (21 periods per cycle) and a time release of 0.417 (15 periods per cycle)
  • The Semester 2 teaching load will be approximately 0.389 FTE (14 periods per cycle) and a time release of 0.611 (22 periods per cycle)
  • Teacher salaries between $83,913 to $124,480 based on experience and subject to scheduled increase in 2026.
  • Additional allowance of $9,447 per annum (Head of Faculty Allowance) pro rata
  • This position of responsibility requires work during non-term periods. Please see Position Description for further details.
  • This position requires a current VIT registration for Teachers applying
  • 2 day dedicated new staff induction - rated 4.7 out of 5 stars by our 2025 new teacher intake
  • All new teachers are assigned a mentor and encouraged to participate in our mentor program
