The Role
We are looking for an organised, proactive Business Support Officer (BSO) who enjoys working in a busy school environment and takes pride in making a real difference behind the scenes. In this role, you would provide high-quality operational and strategic support to the Manager Corporate Services and work closely with a supportive Corporate Services Team—including school officers, Information Communication Technology (ICT) staff, library staff, cleaners, and gardeners—to keep our school running smoothly each day.
You would help ensure our resources and processes are professionally managed, enabling staff to focus on teaching and learning. If you bring experience in facilities coordination, finance, and/or human resource practices (ideally in a school setting), we would love to hear from you. Success in this position would come from strong attention to detail, sound judgement, and the ability to prioritise competing tasks and meet deadlines with confidence.
This is an opportunity for a flexible, collaborative team member with effective communication skills to collaborate with the school’s executive team and contribute to continuous improvement. As BSO, you will ideally support school marketing activities, build positive relationships with families and community stakeholders, and coordinate whole-school staff relief to ensure continuity of learning.
