Known and respected for its learning and wellbeing programs, the College opened a new campus in Cobblebank in 2023 with an intake of 140 Year 7 students and will accommodate 1500 Year 7-12 students by 2028. Our Year 7-12 Melton West campus with its exceptional facilities and secondary pathways is the foundation upon which our new campus will be modelled.

We are seeking dynamic, forward-thinking professionals for the following position:

Auslan Language Assistant - Melton Campus

The Language Assistant – Auslan at St Francis Catholic College plays a key role in supporting the delivery of the Auslan program by assisting with lesson preparation, facilitating student engagement in Auslan learning, and promoting deaf awareness across the school community. Working under the guidance of the Auslan Teacher, the assistant contributes to a consistent, collaborative approach across both campuses and helps students develop their signing skills through interactive activities. The role also involves participating in school events, upholding Catholic and Franciscan values, maintaining child safety standards, and supporting staff professional learning.

Commencing immediately, this is a part-time 0.8, ongoing position.

Salary: $60,662.50 per annum (0.8 FTE)
