The Role

Reporting to the Finance Lead, this role will be responsible for delivering accurate, compliant and timely financial operations across CSBB. It contributes to maintaining strong financial control, integrity of records, and efficient day-to-day finance processes.

This role will work across a broad range of finance activities from reconciliations and transaction processing to compliance support and end of month reporting, all within a collaborative and supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform bank, balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations, identifying and resolving variances accurately and on time
• Process journals, payments, reimbursements and corporate card transactions with appropriate controls and documentation
• Support month-end close including transaction validation, reconciliations and reporting preparation
• Assist with BAS preparation and other ATO compliance obligations
• Maintain financial records that are accurate, well-documented and audit-ready
• Support Accounts Payable, payroll interfaces and related finance functions
• Respond to stakeholder queries and assist TechOne system users with practical, solutions-focused support
• Proactively identify process inefficiencies and drive improvements through to resolution

About You

• Solid foundational experience in a similar accounting or finance support role
• Strong reconciliation and general ledger skills with a sharp eye for detail
• Exposure to BAS preparation and statutory compliance obligations
• Experience with accounting systems, familiarity with TechOne highly regarded
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to think critically and take ownership
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders
• Experience in education, not-for-profit or a similar values-driven sector (desirable)
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or Business (desirable)
