St Mary’s has a current enrolment of approximately 300 students and caters for students from Foundation to Year 8. This composition is unique in our Diocese.

Taking a holistic approach, we constantly strive to ensure each student’s wellbeing is maintained and that they learn to their full capacity.

In addition to the teaching staff, we have dedicated leadership, learning diversity and wellbeing teams who, along with other support staff, work closely together to ensure every child in the school has access to the assistance they need to achieve their best amidst contemporary facilities and an engaging, well rounded curriculum.

About the Role

Key Selection Criteria:

• Understanding and Commitment to Catholic Identity and Mission;
• Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration (or be eligible for registration);
• A current or be willing to obtain an Accreditation to teach Religious Education Certificate;
• Demonstrated high-level knowledge of Victorian Curriculum and the AITSL standards with best practice, evidence-based approaches to teaching and learning;
• Evidence of effective strategies for fostering a safe and positive classroom environment;
• Experience collaborating effectively with colleagues in planning, instruction, and assessment.
