POL 4 Director of Student Wellbeing - Cobblebank Campus Term 4 2026

As our Cobblebank Campus continues to grow into a full Years 7–12 secondary college, we are seeking an experienced and passionate leader to drive our vision for student wellbeing. This influential leadership role will oversee the strategic direction of wellbeing, behaviour and pastoral care, empowering staff, strengthening student voice and ensuring every young person is known, valued and supported to flourish.

About the Role
We are seeking forward-thinking educators who are passionate about inspiring young people and committed to excellence in teaching, learning, wellbeing, leadership and Catholic education.
The successful applicants will demonstrate:
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, families, and the wider community
- Highly developed communication, planning, decision-making and negotiation skills.
- The ability to contribute positively to a collaborative professional culture
- Appropriate expertise and experience in the areas of Teaching & Learning.
- Demonstrated experience in leading best practice in the management of people and resources.
- Demonstrated ability to build capacity in others.
Skills & Experience Required
- Relevant tertiary qualification (Bachelor of Education or equivalent)
- A strong commitment to Catholic education and the ethos of the College
- Ability to implement differentiated learning and use contemporary technology to support student outcomes
- An ability to develop and maintain professional and caring relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- An eagerness to learn.
Special Requirements
- St Francis Catholic College promotes the safety, well-being, and inclusion of all children; therefore, the successful applicant must demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to providing a safe environment for children.
- Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration
- Accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school is preferred.
