Calvary Lutheran Primary School is seeking an experienced and passionate Classroom Teacher to join our dedicated team for the 2026 school year. This is a Part Time, contract position commencing at the beginning of Term 3 2026.

About the Role

As part of a collaborative team, you will work alongside other passionate educators to provide high-quality learning and teaching experiences. You will be responsible for supporting the academic, emotional and spiritual growth of a diverse group of learners, including neurodiverse students and those with additional needs.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Proven experience teaching in the primary school setting or multi-age settings
• A deep passion for engaging students in their learning and supporting their wellbeing
• Strong skills in differentiation and inclusive education
• A willingness to support and uphold the Lutheran ethos of the school
• A collaborative, team-focused approach to teaching
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• The ability to set and maintain respectful boundaries with students, families, and colleagues
• An understanding of, or openness to learn, the Berry Street Education Model, Playberry Literacy Program, and restorative practices
• A commitment to our Child Safe practices and policies

Requirements:

• Registration with the Teachers Registration Board of South Australia (TRB SA)
• Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
• RRHAN training certification
• Current first aid training is desirable
