Class Teacher

Aspire currently has enrolments from Years 3-8, comprised of three small classes. Each class has approximately 5-10 students, a Class Teacher and Learning and Wellbeing Assistant. Cedars ASPIRE is growing each year and plan to offer education through to Year 12.

We are currently inviting applications for the following position commencing Early Term 3:

CLASS TEACHER

A permanent full-time or part-time (negotiable) position exists for a suitably qualified and experienced applicant who is able to demonstrate the following:

• Thorough curriculum knowledge and excellent teaching practice.
• Knowledge of how to structure lessons to meet the diverse academic and wellbeing needs of students.
• Special Education qualifications or willing to undertake this study.
• Be able to create and maintain safe, inclusive and challenging learning environments including the development and implementation of learning and behaviour management plans.
• Experience with working with students with disability.
• Incorporate Christian world views understanding and Biblical truth into their lessons.
• Work collaboratively within a staff team.
• Contribute positively to the culture of the College community.
• Exceptional technology skills.
