Ridge View SC is seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Workplace Learning and Vocational Education and Training (VET) Support Officer to join our Senior Pathways team and make a real, lasting difference.
In this dynamic role, you would be at the heart of our College’s VET and Workplace Learning programs, supporting their development, coordination, and ongoing improvement as our school continues to grow. You will manage essential documentation, processes and program materials, ensuring the smooth and compliant operation of our VET and Workplace Learning pathways.
You will work closely with students to understand their strengths, interests and aspirations, helping them identify suitable pathways into training, employment or alternative activities that align with their goals in collaboration with the VET Coordinator. This will involve conducting site checks, supporting employer induction, and fostering networks that reflect the emerging needs of our local community. Your ability to communicate clearly, solve problems proactively and maintain trusted relationships with students, families and industry partners will be highly regarded to your success.
You will monitor student engagement and participation within the Workplace Learning Program, evaluate data trends and provide reporting to support school decision-making and the continuous improvement of the program. With Ridge View SC entering an exciting phase of growth, you would play a vital role in expanding engagement to students in lower secondary, enhancing participation in career-based incursion/excursions and celebrating student and staff success, contributing to our culture of VET being a positive and supportive pathway for students.
