Position Descriptor: Seaton Park Primary School is located in the western suburbs of Adelaide. We are a small school with a multicultural and diverse student cohort. Our school values are: think positive, try your best and work together. We are seeking a passionate, enthusiastic and committed primary teacher to join our team. Seaton Park Primary School has a whole school consistent approach to the teaching of mathematics. We have a focus on problem solving activities and developing children's capabilities. We use the DfE Spelling and Morphology program to support the teaching of spelling. We have a strong focus on integrating technology to improve student learning. We are looking at developing students with the skills and capabilities to thrive in life, including supporting students to be partners in their learning, and to be effective learners. We are looking to develop students' curiosity, creativity and self-regulation. We have high expectations of student behaviour and have a consistent behaviour management policy with strong relationships with students as a foundation. The successful applicant will work in a positive and collaborative way with educators and leaders across the school.
