Position Descriptor:

Role Purpose: Deliver engaging and inclusive Physical Education programs that promote student participation, wellbeing, and achievement, while supporting positive behaviour and lifelong physical activity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver curriculum-aligned PE lessons.
• Differentiate learning to meet diverse student needs.
• Create safe, inclusive, and positive learning environments.
• Use assessment and data to inform teaching practice.
• Contribute to school sport and extracurricular activities.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and families.

Essential Requirements:

• Current South Australian teacher registration.
• Ability to teach PE across secondary year levels.
• Commitment to child safety, inclusion, and student wellbeing.
