The College is seeking passionate and committed Primary teacher for a temporary Term 2 position. Applicants should demonstrate initiative, adaptability and confidence in the classroom, while upholding high standards and contributing positively to student learning and wellbeing. This role may lead to ongoing or permanent opportunities for the right candidates.

St Bishoy Coptic Orthodox College is seeking passionate and committed Primary teacher for a temporary Term 2 position. The successful applicants will lead with confidence, respond effectively in the classroom and model strong Christian character in their daily practice. This role may lead to ongoing or permanent opportunities for the right candidates.

The successful applicants will demonstrate:

  • A genuine commitment to the Christian faith, actively serving within their Church community
  • The ability to lead students by example, with integrity, care and consistency
  • Initiative, sound judgement and the capacity to think on their feet in a dynamic classroom environment
  • Strong organisation and punctuality, with a professional approach to all responsibilities
  • The ability to deliver the curriculum in an engaging, structured and purposeful manner
  • Effective use of ICT to enhance student learning and engagement
  • Flexibility and availability to work 3–5 days per week
  • The capacity to build and maintain positive, respectful relationships with students, staff and parents
  • A clear commitment to supporting the College in delivering quality education within a caring Christian environment
