The College is seeking passionate and committed Secondary teachers for casual day-to-day (on-call) positions. Applicants should demonstrate initiative, adaptability and confidence in the classroom, while maintaining high expectations for student learning and behaviour. Successful candidates will contribute positively to the life of the College and may be considered for ongoing opportunities.

St Bishoy Coptic Orthodox College is seeking passionate and committed Christian Secondary teachers for casual day-to-day (on-call) positions. We are looking for teachers who demonstrate initiative, sound judgement and the ability to respond confidently in a dynamic classroom environment, while modelling strong Christian character in their daily practice. These roles may lead to ongoing or permanent opportunities for the right candidates.

The successful applicants will demonstrate:

  • A genuine commitment to the Christian faith, actively serving within their Church community
  • The ability to lead students by example, maintaining high expectations for behaviour, learning and respect
  • Initiative, adaptability and the capacity to think clearly and act decisively in the moment
  • Strong organisation, reliability and punctuality
  • The ability to deliver lessons in an engaging, structured and purposeful manner across Secondary settings
  • Effective use of ICT to support and enhance student learning
  • Flexibility and availability to work 3–5 days per week, as required
  • The capacity to build and maintain positive, professional relationships with students, staff and parents
  • A clear commitment to supporting the College in delivering quality education within a caring Christian environment

Essential Requirements
