About Our School
St Mary's Cathedral College Sydney is growing. The College has experienced unprecedented enrollment growth in response to our transition to a K-12, co-educational, dual campus College.
As such, we are seeking to appoint outstanding and experienced educators across a range of year levels and subject areas, with a strong academic background, to join our highly successful Teaching team. As we commence planning for the 2027 academic year there will be a variety of positions available across the Junior (K-4), Middle (5-8) and Senior schools (9-12).
About You
As a Teacher, you will inspire students through engaging, student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning environment. You will:
- show an understanding and an ability to support the Catholic life of the College
- demonstrate exemplary classroom practice and experience in teaching with the relevant qualifications and accreditation
- show highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
- use creative and innovative teaching practice to provide a rich environment that caters for diversity and academic rigour
- exhibit knowledge of emerging technologies and the ability to integrate these into a wide range of curriculum applications
- have excellent time management, organisational and administrative skills
- be an innovative educator who is future-focused and has a passion for working collaboratively
- have a tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation
- Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead, for K-6 Teachers.
