HillSide Christian College is a thriving Christian school in Forrestfield, serving approximately 460 students from Kindy to Year 12. We are seeking a warm, organised and professional Front Office & Student Services Officer to join our administration team. This is a part-time (0.6 FTE) position through to the end of the year, with the opportunity for extension.
As the first point of contact for students, families, staff and visitors, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and efficient front office environment while supporting student wellbeing and day-to-day school operations.
About the Role
Reporting to the Office Manager, you will:
- Welcome and assist students, parents, staff and visitors.
- Manage phone, email and front desk enquiries.
- Support student attendance, welfare and first aid administration.
- Maintain accurate College records and databases.
- Prepare correspondence, documents and reports.
- Contribute positively to the Christian mission and culture of the College.
Essential
- Experience working independently and proactively in Student Services, reception, administration or a similar customer-focused role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and professional manner.
- A high level of discretion, integrity and professionalism when managing confidential information.
- Strong administrative skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to plan, prioritise and manage competing tasks.
- Confidence working under pressure and meeting deadlines in a busy office environment.
- Motivation and a genuine passion for supporting young people on their educational journey.
- Ability and desire to actively support the values and ethos of a Christian school.
Desirable
- Experience in a school environment.
- Senior First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
- Experience with SEQTA or similar school management systems.
