Level 3 Teaching Assistant (TA3) - Blackburn, Accrington & Darwen Start Date: Immediate Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM Contract Type: Ongoing

We are recruiting experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistants to work across a range of primary schools in Blackburn, Accrington, and Darwen. The role involves delivering targeted interventions in the morning and providing PPA cover in the afternoon. This is a great opportunity for confident and adaptable support staff looking to make a meaningful impact across different settings.

A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification and recent experience supporting learning across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 are expected. Confidence in leading small groups and delivering planned lessons is essential.

Preferable Experience:

• Leading small group or one-to-one interventions in literacy and numeracy
• Delivering planned lessons during PPA cover across primary key stages
• Supporting pupils with additional needs, including SEN or EAL
• Managing classroom behaviour and promoting positive learning environments
• Collaborating with teaching staff to support planning and pupil progress
• Using assessment data to inform and adapt intervention strategies

Safeguarding & Application Requirements: All applicants will undergo an Enhanced DBS Check, reference checks, and any necessary overseas police clearances (if applicable) in line with safeguarding policies. Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment, including explanations for any gaps. Applicants need to have the legal right to work in the UK and be available for a registration interview.
