About our School

At Kojonup District High School (DHS) we have a proud history and have served our community since 1863. Located on Albany Highway between Perth and Albany, our 220 students have the added bonus of a 480-acre school farm close by.

All year levels love to visit the farm, and it forms an integral part of our students' learning journey whilst at the school. Sustainability and pathway planning programs are influenced by our farm environment, as are waste-wise practices, animal husbandry and paddock to plate understandings.

Growth through Learning is our vision at Kojonup DHS and it is embedded in everything that we do. At our school, we ensure that every student's academic, social and emotional growth is our priority. Students from Kindergarten to Year 10 work in an environment that nurtures them to achieve their personal best.

At Kojonup DHS we have an established Positive Behaviour Support approach that ensures we maintain high behaviour expectations, and we promote the values of Respect, Responsibility, Pride and Safety across the school. We aim to educate the whole child so they can embrace the future with integrity, compassion and a love for lifelong learning. Our school offers a calm natural environment with well-resourced classrooms. Children are nurtured, valued and encouraged to reach their full potential.
