Our College is seeking a full time Humanities Teacher to join our great community!

Full-Time Ongoing Teacher – Years 7–10 (Commencing Term 1, 2026)

About the Role

The successful applicant will be a registered teacher with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Planning and implementing a range of teaching programs.
  • Monitoring, evaluating, and reporting student progress in key learning areas.
  • Implementing strategies to achieve targets related to student learning outcomes.
  • Teaching an area of the curriculum to a specific year level.
  • Monitoring, evaluating, and reporting on student progress in key learning areas.
  • Implementing strategies to achieve targets related to student learning outcomes.
  • Implementing effective student management consistent with the College strategic plan.
  • Supervising a range of activities, including support and welfare programs.
  • Modeling exemplary classroom practice and mentoring or coaching other teachers in the College to engage in critical reflection on their practice and to support staff in expanding their capacity.
  • Assisting staff in using student data to inform teaching approaches that enable targets related to improving student learning outcomes to be achieved.
