About You
As a Sports Coordinator (2pt), you will inspire students through the development, promotion and organisation of the sporting program for the College. As a teacher, you will engage students through quality instruction in a Catholic learning environment. The position is a 2-point promotional role, temporary for up to 3 years, however your teaching position will be full-time and permanent. You'll bring:
- a passion for sport and promoting the benefits of participation for young people
- leadership skills to improve the participation and performance of sport in the College
- outstanding organisation and management skills in the preparation of the weekly sports program and major sporting events
- strong interpersonal and collaboration skills in working with staff and students across the College
- the ability to create and implement engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of students
- excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being
- the ability to utilise formative and summative assessments to drive student progress
- a tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation.
