Secondary school in Brent

Mon - Fri - 8.30am to 4.30pm

February Start/ Full time - Term time

Veritas are working with a secondary school located in Wembley, Brent who are looking for a speech, language and communication needs teaching assistant (SLCN).

Your role as speech and language teaching assistant will include helping to support the individual needs of pupils. You will also be required to liaise with other members of staff such as therapists and teachers to support children to their raise standards to their full potential. The teaching assistant will be required to support students according to their educational health care plan (EHCP) for specific pupils.

Required skills and qualifications

• Degree is preffered
• Some expereince and knowledge in Speech and Language or SEN is ideal.
• Skills to communicate effectively with all other staff members, parents and pupils.
• Ability to work very hard with positivity and perseverance.
• Subject to enhance DBS check
