Teaching Assistant (Level 6) - PPA Cover - Supply Across Bolton

Start Date: Immediate Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM Contract Type: Ongoing Supply Locations: Various primary schools across Bolton

Veritas Education is looking for Level 6 Teaching Assistants to provide PPA cover across a range of primary schools in Bolton. This flexible supply role is ideal for someone confident leading whole‑class learning and delivering pre‑planned lessons in different school environments.

Key responsibilities include:

Delivering pre‑prepared lessons in KS1 and KS2 classrooms
Creating a calm and positive atmosphere that supports effective learning
Building rapport with pupils and adapting to different routines and teaching styles
Managing the classroom and ensuring sessions run smoothly in the teacher's absence
Working with multiple schools while representing Veritas Education professionally

We welcome applicants who bring:

A Level 6 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
Experience leading learning or providing cover in primary settings
Confidence working across a range of year groups
A flexible, adaptable approach when working in different schools

Safeguarding & Application Requirements: All applicants will undergo an Enhanced DBS Check, reference checks, and-if applicable-overseas police clearances in line with safeguarding policies. Employment history for the past 10 years should be provided, including explanations for any gaps. Applicants need to have the legal right to work in the UK and be available for a registration interview.
