We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and child-focused SENDCO to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional teacher looking to further their career within a supportive and ambitious school network.

As SENDCO, you will be the advocate and whole-school driving force for students with identified special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). You will lead and coordinate innovative, evidence-based provision, ensuring that every child receives the support they need to thrive academically and personally.

About the Role

You will:

• Lead and manage SEND provision effectively and efficiently across the school
• Provide professional guidance to secure high-quality teaching and inclusive practice
• Monitor the progress of pupils with SEND, evaluating the effectiveness of provision and driving continuous improvement
• Work closely with parents, carers, and a range of external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for students
• Ensure compliance with statutory SEND and equality regulations

About You

Our ideal candidate will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Be committed to completing relevant SEND CPD and qualifications
• Have proven experience as an excellent classroom practitioner
• Demonstrate strong knowledge and understanding of statutory SEND requirements
• Have experience working collaboratively with parents and external professionals
• Be passionate about inclusion and championing the needs of every child
