Parkwood Primary School (PS) is seeking a full-time School Officer who is passionate about making a positive difference in the day-to-day lives of students and contributing to a welcoming, supportive school environment.
Parkwood PS was established in 1975 and is located at the eastern end of the Fremantle Peel Education District, alongside Lynwood Senior High School.
As an Independent Public School with around 600 students, including a dedicated Intensive English Centre that supports newly arrived students from diverse cultural backgrounds, we are proud of our strong sense of community and inclusivity. Our curriculum offers rich opportunities including instrumental music and specialist Science, Arts, German and Physical Education programs, underpinned by explicit instruction and the Berry Street Education Model to create safe and supportive classrooms.

The Role
At Parkwood PS, we recognise that every staff member plays an important role in the culture and success of our school.
To be successful in this role, you should provide high-quality administrative and customer service support as part of a busy school office team. Duties may include responsibilities in finance, human resources, student enrolments, attendance, communications and marketing. Knowledge of Compass, Technology One, Human Resources Management Information Systems (HRMIS) is desirable.
The role may include administrative support for our staff and families in relation to enrolments of students with English as an Additional Language into the Intensive English Centre.

Eligibility

Selection criteria:
- Demonstrated experience in providing effective administrative support with the ability to organise and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Demonstrated good interpersonal skills and ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment.
- Demonstrated experience in supporting diverse cultural and linguistic migrants following customer service principles and practices.
