Kiara College is a vibrant learning community located on the western edge of the Swan Valley. The Role

We are seeking two dedicated and dynamic Program Coordinators – Student Services to join our comprehensive Student Servies team to play a pivotal role in fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. Each Program Coordinator would be responsible for two year groups supporting student wellbeing and promoting positive behaviour across the school.

Ideally, the key responsibilities of the Program Coordinator – Student Services would be to:

• Ensure consistent implementation of our Behaviour Management Policy.
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff to engage students in making positive behaviour choices.
• Champion and promote our Positive Behaviours Framework, helping to embed it into the daily life of our school.
• Build strong, respectful with students, supporting their social and emotional development.
• Oversee and lead management of students with identified special educational needs and collaborate with key staff to ensure appropriate support and intervention is enacted (including the creation, monitoring and review of IEP’s, IBP’s, RMP’s), within a tired MTSS structure.
• Oversee and monitor student attendance, taking appropriate measure to intervene to increase student engagement at school.
• Communicate effectively with staff, students, families and the wider community to promote, and strive for, positive student outcomes.

The successful applicants will ideally display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine ability to connect with young people. The roles require the ability to lead with empathy, consistency, predictability whilst having a proactive mindset.
