School Officer

We are seeking to establish a pool of School Officers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year and up to the end of Term 3, 2026. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

Wanneroo Primary School (PS) is an Independent Public School situated in the North Metropolitan Education District. The school caters to 440 students from Kindergarten to Year 6 and has a long and positive history with its local surrounds, being established in 1899.

The Role

As School Officer the suitable applicants would be responsible for completing administrative duties under the instruction of the Manager of Corporate Services. You would be responsible for providing accurate advice and support to parents, students, staff and community members ideally using your sound communication skills. Within the parameters provided by the school administration team you should maintain school databases, records and management information systems to ensure they are accurate and up to date whilst ensuring the confidentiality and security of sensitive material.

Suitable applicants will ideally be experienced in office duties in a busy school environment and have a confident phone manner and a friendly and positive attitude. A good working knowledge of Student Information System (SIS) / Kaartdijin / Compass and strong attention to detail, accurate data entry and the ability to work well within a team environment are highly regarded.
