School Improvement Officer Curriculum & Pedagogy (Early Years)
Catholic Education Diocese of Wagga Wagga is seeking an experienced Teacher to join our School Improvement Services Team in a role dedicated to strengthening curriculum, pedagogy and school improvement across our Catholic primary schools.
Reporting to the Head of Curriculum & Pedagogy, you will partner with principals, leadership teams and teachers to enhance curriculum implementation, strengthen instructional practice and improve student learning outcomes, with a particular focus on Preschool to Year 2.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape educational excellence across the Diocese while supporting schools to deliver high-quality, evidence-informed teaching that gives every child the strongest possible start to their learning journey.

Key Responsibilities
- Support schools to implement the NSW Curriculum and Early Years Learning Framework.
- Strengthen curriculum planning, implementation and evaluation across primary schools.
- Build teacher and leader capability through coaching, mentoring and professional learning.
- Promote evidence-informed pedagogical practices that improve student learning.
- Support schools to analyse data and use evidence to inform teaching and school improvement.
- Partner with principals and leadership teams to implement strategic improvement initiatives.
- Facilitate professional learning communities and collaborative networks.
- Contribute to diocesan curriculum priorities and continuous improvement.
About You
You are an experienced primary educator and educational leader with a strong background in curriculum, pedagogy and instructional improvement. You are passionate about supporting teachers to deliver high-quality learning experiences that enable every child to succeed.
You will also bring:
- Appropriate teaching qualifications and current teacher accreditation.
- Extensive experience in primary curriculum and pedagogy.
- Strong knowledge of contemporary educational research and evidence-informed practice.
- Experience leading curriculum implementation and school improvement initiatives.
- Outstanding coaching, facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A commitment to the mission and values of Catholic Education.
