About the Role
The School Administration Officer – Student is responsible for providing high-quality administrative and customer service support while managing a range of student administration functions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing professional and friendly customer service to students, families, staff and visitors.
- Supporting student enrolment processes and maintaining accurate student records.
- Assisting with student attendance administration and reporting requirements.
- Administering student communications, excursions, medical records and reports using school software systems.
- Providing first aid support to students as required.
- Supporting grant applications and student support processes.
- Assisting with accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.
- Providing administrative support to the Principal and school staff.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- A commitment to the mission, values and ethos of Catholic education.
- A strong commitment to child safety and student wellbeing.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
- Extensive administration experience in a busy office environment.
- Advance computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and other business systems.
- High levels of organisation, accuracy and attention to detail.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A friendly, approachable and professional manner.
