Veritas Education is proud to be working in partnership with a range of specialist schools across West Yorkshire, and we are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Profound & Complex Needs Support Staff to join our team.

Our partner schools support children and young people aged 2-19 years, with a wide range of complex, profound and multiple learning needs and disabilities. From communication and sensory needs to physical, medical and personal care requirements, these outstanding specialist provisions are equipped with exceptional facilities to ensure every learner can thrive.

The Role

As a valued member of the support team, you will:

• Provide support to students from early years through to young adulthood, within the classroom, across the school environment, and in the wider community.
• Deliver nurturing, engaging and tailored support to help students access learning, interactive play and the development of communication and social skills.
• Assist with personal care, hygiene and toileting, ensuring dignity, respect and comfort at all times.
• Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team, supporting academic development, communication, sensory integration and positive peer interactions.
• Bring energy, enthusiasm and initiative to your role, demonstrating confidence and a proactive approach to supporting learners with complex needs.

What We're Looking For

We are seeking individuals who are caring, resilient and passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people with additional needs. Experience within SEND or care settings is desirable, but above all, we value commitment, empathy and a positive attitude.
