Primary Class Teacher - Lewisham Location: Lewisham, South East London Position: Primary Class Teacher Start Date: After February Half Term 2026 Pay: £3,500 - £4,500 per month

Veritas Education is pleased to be working in partnership with a friendly, community-driven primary school in Lewisham, who are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Primary Class Teacher to join their team after the February half term.

This OFSTED-rated 'Good' school is highly regarded for its inclusive ethos, creative curriculum, and strong focus on ensuring every child achieves both academically and personally. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for a primary class, delivering engaging and high-quality lessons that inspire curiosity, independence, and a genuine love of learning.

This role is ideal for a reflective and motivated teacher who enjoys creating stimulating learning experiences, building strong relationships with pupils and families, and contributing positively to a supportive and forward-thinking school community.

The Ideal Primary Class Teacher Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
• Experience teaching within a primary school setting (ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply)
• A strong understanding of the primary curriculum and assessment frameworks
• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate effectively

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning and delivering well-structured, engaging lessons across the primary curriculum
• Creating a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
• Monitoring, assessing, and tracking pupil progress to inform effective teaching and learning
• Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community
