A vibrant secondary school in Camden is seeking a committed Maths Teaching Assistant to join their team until the end of the academic year, with the strong possibility of continuing into the next academic year

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous experience with secondayr aged children (11-16) who is confident supporting students across a range of subjects.

The Role

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support students across KS3 and KS4 in Maths classes
• Work with pupils 1:1 and in small groups to raise attainment
• Assist teachers with lesson prep, resources, and in‑class support
• Help manage behaviour and promote a positive learning environment
• Provide tailored support to students with SEND and other additional needs
• Build strong relationships with students, staff, and families

Requirements

You must have:

• Previous experience working with secondary aged children
• A degree in a maths based subject
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage young people
• A proactive, patient, and positive approach
• The confidence to support learning in busy classroom environments
• Good organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team
