A welcoming and well-resourced specialist setting in Kingston upon Thames is seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join their team as soon as possible. This is a rewarding opportunity to teach a 6th Form class of students with complex needs and PMLD, delivering highly personalised learning in a supportive environment.

The Role

• Lead a small 6th Form class of students with complex needs and PMLD
• Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons tailored to EHCP outcomes
• Work closely with a skilled team of support staff and therapists
• Focus on communication, life skills, sensory learning and preparation for adulthood
• Create a safe, engaging and inclusive learning environment

Requirements

• QTS is essential
• Proven experience supporting students with complex needs and PMLD
• Strong understanding of personalised learning, sensory approaches and communication strategies (e.g. PECS, Makaton, AAC)
• A compassionate, patient and proactive teaching style
• Child and Adult DBS (desirable)
