Role Description/Criteria
We are currently seeking a Maintenance and Facilities Officer to join our team. This is a part time role with flexibility for increased hours during peak periods. This is an ongoing position.
Remuneration will be based on experience as per the Catholic Education Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2022 (CEMEA).

Job Description:
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Develop and implement a cyclical maintenance schedule to ensure gardens and grounds are well-presented and maintained.
- Undertake general maintenance tasks, including weeding, watering, fertilising, mowing, and planting as required.
- Manage daily Open-Up and lock-up schedules.
- Lead and assist team members in setting up areas for assemblies, exams, and special events.
- Review and assign maintenance requests via MyMaintenance system.
- Monitor corridors, classrooms, and key facilities to ensure safety and functionality
- Actively promote OH&S compliance across all College activities
- Attend training and professional development programs to ensure compliance with updated OH&S requirements
Skills/Experience Required:
We require the following qualifications and qualities in the ideal candidate:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Working with Children Check for Victoria and National Police Record Check required prior to commencement.
- Proficient documentation and computer skills
- High level of professional personal presentation;
- Enthusiastic and highly motivated to contribute
- Ability to build and maintain professional and caring relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
