Salary Range: $82,796 to $136,848 plus superannuation. Salary is determined based on years of teaching service.

About the Role

The Intervention Specialist and Classroom Support Teacher plays a dual role as both a classroom educator and a valued member of the Learning Diversity Team. In this position, you will deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons using effective teaching strategies and resources, while providing regular assessment, feedback, and maintaining accurate records of student progress. Working collaboratively with colleagues and families, you will help foster inclusive learning environments that support the diverse needs of all students. Through your commitment to professional growth and best practice, you will contribute to programs and processes that ensure every student has equitable access to the curriculum. Our ideal candidate will have experience in overseeing and coordinating literacy and numeracy interventions within a school setting. This position includes both a teaching and classroom support element.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching
  • ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration
  • ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration
