Salary Range: $82,796 to $136,848 plus superannuation. Salary is determined based on years of teaching service.

Employment Status: Full-time

Eligibility: Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident

St John Paul II College (JPC) is a Catholic, co-educational secondary school serving families in the north of Canberra. About the Role

The Health and Physical Education Teacher will inspire students to develop healthy lifestyles, teamwork, and a lifelong appreciation for physical activity. Through engaging lessons, you’ll foster physical literacy, wellbeing, and personal growth in every learner. You will play a vital role in promoting a positive culture of health and inclusion, empowering students to make informed choices that support their overall wellbeing. Working collaboratively within a supportive and dynamic faculty, you’ll contribute to curriculum development, co-curricular sport, and whole-school initiatives that encourage active participation and school spirit.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching
  • ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration
  • ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration
