We are seeking to appoint an ICT Support Technician to join our ICT team in August this year, based at our Drouin campus.
The successful delivery of Information Technology at Chairo is of high priority and the ICT Support Technician will be expected to provide excellent customer service.
Some key responsibilities will include:
- Answering phone calls and emails from staff members, students and parents
- Monitoring and logging issues in ICT’s Help Desk system
- Providing software support and deployment
- Providing computer hardware support and deployment (i.e. laptops, desktops, iPads)
- Providing educational hardware support (e.g. interactive displays)
- Providing other hardware support (e.g. printers, photocopiers)
- Maintaining, creating and terminating user accounts
- Providing basic networking support for end-user devices
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Demonstrated commitment to the school’s Statement of Faith
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to relate to students, staff members and parents in a caring, friendly and helpful manner
- Willingness to work at multiple campuses as required
- Willingness to work out of regular hours on an occasional basis
