Role Description/Criteria

Commencing June 2026, the successful applicant will join an open-plan Primary School setting. We are seeking a collaborative team player who is committed to the best interests of the school and its students. Comprehensive induction and handover will be provided at the start of the role.

As a Classroom Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, evidence-based lessons using High-Impact Teaching Practices that engage and challenge students, while fostering a positive classroom environment where all learners can thrive.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential, including the ability to build effective, supportive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, while maintaining a clear focus on student learning and well-being.

This position would suit both a newly qualified teacher seeking strong support and professional foundations and an experienced educator looking to refine, extend, and deepen their teaching practice within a collaborative and improvement-focused environment.

This role offers significant professional growth and support, including:

  • Extensive training in our high-quality literacy program, Playberry Laser, equipping you with evidence-based strategies that make a real impact on student learning.
  • One full day of release for planning, providing dedicated time to collaborate, prepare and refine your practice.
  • Regular instructional coaching (weekly or fortnightly) to support your professional goals and strengthen your classroom impact.
  • Comprehensive training in our Positive Behaviour for Learning approach, ensuring you feel confident and supported in fostering a calm, consistent and respectful learning environment.

Salary Range: $82,796 to $136,848 full-time equivalent plus superannuation. Salary is determined based on years of teaching service.

Employment Status: Full-time with a possibility of ongoing employment for the right teacher

Start Date: Negotiable (start 8th June for handover with current teacher ) end of term 2 and Terms 3 + 4 with a possibility of ongoing
