Bunbury Senior High School (SHS) is perched on a hill overlooking both the cityscape of Bunbury and the extensive Bunbury beach front. It makes use of its location, extending the boundaries of the campus into the city, to provide students with a unique, rich learning experience in real world settings totally intertwined with the city itself.

The school’s historically listed buildings and exciting new additions symbolise its past and its future in education. Bunbury High is not just historically significant to Western Australia, it is a public secondary school whose reputation for care, teacher quality and innovative approach to curriculum implementation is changing the face of education within the South West Region. And it is doing so with impressive results!

The commitment of the leadership team to align system priorities while scanning the education horizons for best practice created the Bunbury SHS three-step philosophy enabling students to maximise their academic potential, resulting in high performance across a range of learning, social and civic outcomes
