Faculty Leadership - full-time, ongoing teaching with initial 3 year leadership contract.

As Head of Faculty – Science, you will:

• Demonstrate expertise in teaching to Stage 6
• Demonstrate deep understanding of the new NESA syllabi and principles of curriculum reform
• Lead and inspire a diverse team across disciplines including Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Environmental Science within an innovative curriculum structure
• Drive a culture of inquiry, experimentation, and evidence-based learning
• Oversee the design and delivery of innovative, rigorous curriculum aligned with NESA requirements the International Baccalaureate framework alongside contemporary practice in inquiry learning
• Champion the use of data analysis and reflective practice to drive continuous improvement in student outcomes
• Foster a professional environment where collaboration, mentoring, and continuous improvement are embedded
• Lead a team of outstanding practitioners both within Teaching and Professional and Operational staff
• Contribute to the School’s broader academic strategy and leadership community
