We are seeking a dynamic, driven and relational Head of Department (Curriculum) to lead teaching and learning excellence across our school.

This is a pivotal leadership role for someone who believes that strong curriculum leadership changes outcomes — and who is ready to make that impact.

Step Into Your Next Chapter:

Teaching & Learning Leadership

• Lead enactment of the Australian Curriculum and whole-school curriculum overviews
• Oversee Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Framework (CARF) compliance (K-12)
• Monitor assessment schedules, benchmarks and target performance
• Coordinate moderation processes
• Lead collaborative planning structures (explicit teaching, consolidation, data inquiry)
• Conduct walkthroughs and provide instructional feedback
• Lead the school's priority in the Teaching Of Reading
• Lead professional learning for staff

Data & Improvement

• Lead implementation of the school's Data Literacy Framework
• Drive strategies aligned to AIP benchmarks and targets
• Coordinate assessment and data collection schedules
• Analyse student achievement data to inform teaching adjustments
• Support NAPLAN coordination and preparation

Coaching & Capability Development

• Provide instructional coaching and teacher support
• Mentor beginning teachers

Support teachers with

• Student wellbeing and behaviour plans
• Classroom planning
• Risk management plans
