About the Role:
The Marketing & Events Officer will work closely with the Business Manager, Finance Officer and Principal to develop, coordinate and implement a cohesive and professional school-wide marketing and communication approach.
This position oversees both strategic planning and hands-on content creation across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the school's marketing portfolio, including branding, advertising and public communication strategies.
- Collaborate with the Business Manager and Principal to deliver whole-school messaging and campaigns.
- Coordinate creative design concepts and solutions for publications and events, including the school newsletter and “What's On” updates.
- Develop, coordinate and work with Events Co-ordinator on both short- and long-term specialist project activities. These include school events such as celebrations, graduation and parent teacher Interviews. This includes preparation of invitations and management of guest lists.
- Attend out of hours events to take photos and videos
- Produce, proofread and distribute a range of documentation and communications.
- Manage and monitor the school website to ensure content is accurate, engaging and up to date.
- Manage and monitor all school social media platforms, ensuring consistent branding and messaging.
- Oversee maintenance of the school calendar, ensuring key dates and events are accurately reflected.
- Coordinate updates for the school's electronic signage.
- Create and maintain the school's automated phone messages.
- Organise promotional materials and resources for school events, programs and initiatives.
- Coordinate whole-school photo days and related communications.

Skills & Attributes
- Strong written and visual communication skills.
