The Role:

As an English Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support teachers in delivering engaging and well-structured English lessons
• Provide 1:1 and small group support to students aged 11-16
• Assist with classwork, homework, exam preparation and literacy development
• Help maintain a positive, focused learning environment
• Offer targeted support to students who require additional guidance
• Get involved in wider school life, including enrichment and extracurricular activities

What We're Looking For:

• A degree in English or a closely related subject
• A genuine passion for education and helping young people succeed
• Experience supporting young people (e.g. tutoring, mentoring, teaching assistant work, youth work, summer schools)
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A proactive, positive and reliable attitude
