Deputy Principal
We are seeking to establish a pool of Deputy Principals for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Located approximately 27 kilometres from Perth CBD, Joseph Banks Secondary College (SC) is an Independent Public School serving students from Years 7 to 12. The Role
We are seeking enthusiastic and experienced Deputy Principals to lead a challenging portfolio which includes leadership of curriculum through whole school approaches, staff development, including coaching middle leaders, timetabling and leadership of innovative programs aligned to the College Business plan.
As an integral part of the school leadership team, the Deputy Principals will ideally possess the personal attributes to foster the established school culture of genuine care, respect, and support for colleagues, which is the foundation for the important work we do together every day to create optimal learning conditions for our students to flourish.
The suitable applicants will ideally display the ability to lead change, improve teacher practices by modelling effective teaching strategies, coach colleagues to enhance their skills and leadership capabilities in order to strategically align decision making processes and systems, in order to engage with a wide variety of stakeholders to support and positively impact learning and achievement for students. The ability to remain flexible, effectively prioritise competing demands, and manage multiple tasks while being resilient and compassionate, are desirable attributes.

- obtain a valid Working With Children Check before you start; and
