Crestmead State School is a large Prep-to-Year 6 school located in Logan City.

About the Role
This leadership role will suit an inclusion professional who has a proven track record of achieving outstanding outcomes for students with a disability.
Your primary goal will be to drive a whole-school approach to inclusion, ensuring that every student is successful.
Key responsibilities
- Comprehensive knowledge of Education Queensland's inclusive education policies and procedures.
- Mastery of student planning documentation (e.g., PLPs).
- Strong relational leadership to build effective partnerships.
- Effective, timely organisation and efficient management of resources and schedules.
- Ability to distribute leadership to empower staff and drive a whole-school approach.
Skills and experience
- Policy Expertise: Comprehensive, up-to-date knowledge of Education Queensland's inclusive education policies and procedures.
- Student Planning Mastery: Proven skill in developing, implementing, and managing key student planning documentation (e.g., PLPs, ICPs, HICs, ISSPs, IBSPs and risk assessments.).
- Relational Leadership: A capacity for strong relational leadership to build positive, trusting, and effective relationships across the entire school community.
- Effective Organisation: Demonstrated ability for effective, timely organisation and efficient management of documentation, resources, and support schedules.
- Distributed Leadership: The ability to effectively distribute leadership and empower staff to ensure that inclusive practices are consistently and successfully applied across all classrooms.
