Cover Supervisor - Full Time - Redbridge

Are you confident, adaptable, and passionate about supporting young people in a school setting? A welcoming and community-driven secondary school in Redbridge is looking for a Cover Supervisor to join the team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, builds rapport easily, and wants to gain hands-on experience in education.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Supervise classes across a range of subjects in the absence of the class teacher
• Deliver pre-prepared work and ensure students remain on task
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Support students with questions and encourage positive engagement
• Build strong relationships with pupils and be a consistent, calm presence
• Work closely with teaching staff and pastoral teams

No planning or marking is required-your focus is on delivering lessons confidently and maintaining a productive classroom environment.

• Calm under pressure and able to handle behaviour fairly and consistently
• Approachable, friendly and able to connect with young people
• Reliable, punctual and committed to supporting the school day-to-day
• Interested in developing a career in teaching, pastoral work or wider education
• Have experience in a school setting, either as a TA or as a Cover Supervisor
