Ipswich Special School strives for excellence in education by providing a supportive, focused learning environment in which all students work towards participating effectively as valued members of society.
We provide educational programs for students with a broad range of abilities, learning characteristics and needs aged between three and eighteen. This role will support the roll-out of explicit teaching of reading school improvement agenda.
It will be advantageous to candidates if they have experience with the Science of reading and with working with diverse learners.

- Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration, as a teacher in Queensland. For more information regarding registration requirements, please CLICK HERE.
- In addition to registration, teachers working in Education and Care Services (including State Delivered Kindergarten programs) require an exemption card issued by Blue Card Services. For more information on blue cards and exemption cards, please CLICK HERE.
