Role Description/Criteria
St Kevin's Primary School is looking for a passionate suitably qualified primary teacher (Full time). This classroom positions will begin at commencement of Term 2, 2026 (20th April) in Year 1. It is a fixed term position. Please address the criteria outlined in the attached document and complete the Application for Employment form. (attached below)
Application Procedure
St Kevin's Primary School is looking for an energetic, passionate, dedicated team oriented Classroom Teacher to join our growing community. Graduates welcome to apply. Our vision encompasses catering for each student's needs while encouraging collaboration and action. This position will commence on at the beginning of the school year Term 2, 2026. The year level will be Year 1.
The successful applicant must have
- Full registration or provisional registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching
- Embrace the pedagogical approaches used at St Kevin's and be a reflective practitioner
- Have the ability to differentiate and personalise learning to meet the needs of each student, including those with additional needs
- Be open to feedback for growth and act upon it appropriately
- Knowledge of the Child Safe Standards and of the expectations of a staff member in adhering to them
- Read and be committed to maintaining the standards as set out in our Child Safe Code of Conduct
