Role Description/Criteria
St Kevin's PS is looking for a passionate suitably qualified Classroom Teacher (0.4) allocation days are preferable Thursday and Friday but may be negotiated. This positions will begin at commencement of Term 4, 2025 or close to that date. Please address the criteria outlined in the attached document and complete the Application for Employment form. (attached below).
Application Procedure
St Kevin's Primary School is looking for an energetic, passionate, dedicated team oriented Classroom Teacher to join our growing community. Our vision encompasses catering for each student's needs while encouraging collaboration and action. This position will commence on at the beginning of Term 4, 2025 and may continue into 2026 as a part time position. Discussion about commencement date will occur at interview stage.

The successful applicant will be dedicated to embracing partnerships with students, colleagues, parents and the wider community in a high performing school. They will have an opportunity to collaborate with educators passionate in Cognitive Science and the MACS Vision for Instruction. They will be engaged in evidence-based practices derived from research on how students learn.

- full registration or provisional registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching
- be accredited to teach Religious Education in a Catholic Primary School.
- knowledge of the Child Safe Standards and of the expectations of a staff member in adhering to them
- read and be committed to maintaining the standards as set out in our Child Safe Code of Conduct
- read, and be aware of, the attached statement on the 'Principles Regarding Catholic Education
